Compile / Upload times are insane compared to the Simpl or Simpl# Pro not to mention the crazy number of signals it generates.(Restarting the computer also seems to help resolve this issue) Toolbox and Crestron Studio do not play nice with each other and seem to require you to manually shutdown the Com Server before upload or errors mention in number (4 are more likely to occur).(This seems to be hit and miss but still frustrating since it makes me question if the program is working correctly) Would check the MC3 and the project was loaded just fine.

I would get errors like project failed to load (Check Error Log) During the debugging stage when working out some kinks like missing a page flip or feedback on a mute button.I have had to resolve this usually by rewriting the custom logic in Crestron Studio or by recompiling / uploading the program and it will work.When using the program editor to bring in custom modules from simpl it failed to work correctly the symbol imported and the logic was all there, but it didnвЂ™t work as intended.

Again have had to delete the button logic (Rewrite the 3 if statements and the code worked just fine after compiling).

1) When using a lot of if statements and variables the program sometime would not load correctly and even though the logic was in the command would not be sent.

I use to think these were caused by me just not knowing the answer or forgetting to do it correctly.

Like how it generates some of the tedious and time-consuming logic but now I have most of that stuff pre created and just being it in from another project or template.

Crestron Studio makes all the other tools we use look extremely dated especially VT-Pro.

Some stuff I noticed in this project because of what I know now: So, I took the Custom Simpl Logic and imported into Crestron Studio then created a device to be able to use it. Since it was an existing client with a system, we installed we had all the documentation and the original program. Nothing crazy 10 Video Zones, MC3, DM-MD 8x8 with HR-150s and Crestron Apps (3 users) for control. As a guy who enjoys C#, Simpl# Pro is my favorite to write code in.Д«ut this week we did a small project and I knocked it out in Crestron Studio quickly. Should I just forget about it? I would say for the last 6 months or so I have only used Simpl whether it be SIMPL, SIMPL+ or SIMPL# Pro since I was forcing myself to get better in all forms of programming.
